Measuring only 204mm long the Q2 is super compact and has a new clip system that makes it simple to store in a bag or purse. It also features a quick release latch design so you can un-mount your phone in seconds for important calls.

Compact and comfortable design

Zhiyun have designed the Smooth Q2 to be significantly smaller than their previous Smooth Q gimbal and now it offers a convenient clip-up feature it can be secured in your bag. The handle has also been upgraded with an ultra-comfortable silicone grip that makes it easier to keep a hold of.

Landscape and portrait live streaming modes

As versatile as it is portable, the mobile gimbal can be set to operate in either a landscape mode for vlogging or youtube videos, or a portrait mode that is best for Instagram and Facebook stories. The gimbal also supports streaming for live broadcast in real-time.

High torque motor design

The motors have been improved, which allows the Q2 to support mobile devices that weigh up to 260g. This makes the motorised gimbal compatible with most devices on the market like the iPhone 11 PRO, Samsung S10+ without any confusion counterweights or complicated setups.

Quick release function

In response to feedback from previous models, Zhiyun have designed the Smooth Q2 with an innovative clip system that allows you to remove or attached a phone in seconds. This makes it ultra-convenient if you're filming and someone calls your phone.

Versatile power solution

Not only does the Q2 have an impressive 16 hours battery life, but it can also be used as a power bank to recharge your device, a real-life saver when you don't have access to power. It has a small micro USB output under the base of the phone mount for convenient charging as well as a USB-C port to recharge the gimbal.

Gimbal can be controlled directly from the phone camera

All gimbal functions can be controlled directly using the phone camera removing the need to have to go through an App. The App can still be used to get enhanced features however the phone camera functions can be controlled by connecting the gimbal via blutooth to the phone.

New modes introduced such as Vortex, POV and Phone Go

As well as the normal pan follow, all follow and locking gimbal modes, the SmoothQ2 also has the popular Vortex and GO modes from their Crane 2, Crane 3 LAB and Weebil LAB gimbals. Vortex mode rotates the gimbal 360ŒÁ for creative shots, the Go mode increases the sensitivity of the gimbal making it easier to film fast moving subjects and the POV mode following all three axes for ultimate control.
